3 Proven Tips to Quiet your Mind



Oftentimes, our thoughts create a barrier. Negative thoughts build walls. Stress.. busy schedules. To quiet your mind is not as easy as it sounds, but it is the perfect antidote to stress and worrying.

1. Meditate. All you have to do is sit for 10 minutes and focus on your breath, a mantra, your body or an external object. The most important thing to consider here is that your mind won’t be quiet all the time. It’s impossible, so accept that and continue with the practice 🙂

2. Mindfulness. I have found mindfulness quite beneficial. This basically means moment to moment awareness. This can be more difficult than it sounds, but if you consciously focus on being present, you’ll eventually get in the habit and you’ll find that you will spend less time thinking about the past or the future.

3. Positive Attitude. I think that ‘trust’ and ‘acceptance are incredibly powerful attitudes. Trust that everything will be okay, and accept what is.
